What a busy time of year!

I know a lot of local candidates are out knocking on doors, attending events, and generally working their magic on the campaign trail. It’s amazing to see and I commend their efforts.

I will get to that point … in a week or so.

Right now I have PTO commitments to attend to, a kiddo who is slowly wrapping his mind around the fact that summer vacation is coming to a close, and my own courses to launch as I return to the classroom this week. Three different courses. 72 students. Lots of excitement and a whole lotta nerves – particularly for first year students enrolled in my 8am public speaking course.

Yard signs are going out. Collateral is coming in. And the campaign chugs along.

While I navigate this end of summer balancing act, I’m leaning in and asking for your help …

For those who know me – you can help by talking to your networks about who I am and what I stand for.

For those who don’t know me and are eagerly waiting for me to knock on your door – I encourage you to message me with questions until that day comes. We can start our dialogue online and continue in-person.

To all my fellow parents and educators … good luck with these next few weeks. I’m here for support if you need it!
